Who makes your products and where are your products made?
This is perhaps our number one question. The answer is simple: We make our own products at our own factory located in Southeast Asia. Our US office is located in Bellingham, Washington. We are not selling someone else's product and slapping our name on it. We don't place our orders with somebody else, who then drop ships to you. We control all aspects of production; from the creation of the frames, to sewing, to shipping to the USA, final inspection in Bellingham and then shipping to you, the customer. To run your own factory as a USA citizen, this is a big deal and we are proud of our business model.
I see lots of internet stores selling product that looks like yours at lower prices. Why is that?
Another top question. If you see a product that appears similar to ours, even with the same product name, we can guarantee that those products are not ours. Our products are exclusive to us and are only available through our website, or through an authorized dealer we show on our retail store page or the designer page. You can be assured that if you find a product at a lower price, it is not made to the same quality standards as ours. Whether it is because we use stainless steel tubing (ours) vs. chrome plated tubing (theirs), top-grain italian leather (ours) vs. lower grade Chinese leather (theirs), or whatever; the differences go on and on. If you wish to purchase a fine piece of furniture that will last through the years, at a price that is within your reach, our products are the best choice.
It doesn't seem like you have many products. Why don't you have more?
Right now, we are making and selling about 100 different products in the modern classics Genre. (We also make and sell an extensive line of contemporary furniture not shown on this website.) Many other websites sell hundreds of mid-century modern products, sourced from a variety of manufacturers. The difference is simply due to our desire to only sell what we make, and to make accurate prototypes of each classic takes time. We add about 3 or 4 products per month. We don't want to sacrifice quality simply to boast we have the most SKUs...we would rather boast that we have the highest customer satisfaction rating, or the highest number of return customers, or that our products don't fall apart in one year, etc. You get the idea.
I signed up for trade pricing, but I still see the regular prices.
When you sign up for wholesale or trade pricing, it can take at least 4 hours for us to review your information and make the change to your account at our website. So it is not autamatic. We will send you an email when you are approved, and if you need faster service, give us a call or send an email.
